I was contacted through email by a robinhood representative the same day I wrote my review and within 24 hours of the incident and the issue was resolved...Now I admit I did not even give the online customer service way of help a chance like I should of before getting upset. But now I know if you exhaust the help center feature for help and you let them know whatโ€™s going on by email and it is a urgent matter they do contact you quickly...

I had wrote this post immediately after writing Robinhood and receiving a automated message that it could take 3 business days but to my surprise this post was replied to within an hour I believe and the customer service was beyond expectations and resolved quickly and not only that, but it turns out that I had received an email that I had not read a week or two ago that had explained that my account would not work until I sent a copy of my ID because of some activity so that they could confirm that I was indeed the account holder... so this could have been avoided if I had simply looked through my emails with robinhood instead of blaming them immediately and the claiming that there was no way customer service to be any good without being conducted over phone calls when I actually did prove to be really productive and straight to the point and just as good as a phone call so my preconceptions were wrong and I apologize to Robin Hood for my poor conduct because it was my fault for not reading my mail ( after all , I would of read mail in my mail box from my regular financial institution that holds my money so why would I not give this institution the same attention?) I think in the end it was a lack of respect on my part for what they do and they did no different than any other place that holds our money or has anything to do with our assets. And a lack of control on my part to be calm and look into the situation by checking all communications with them to see if I had missed anything. Itโ€™s been stressful the past several months and again I apologize and do recommend that people realize that everyone is human and can make mistakes and those of us that write these reviews are just as prone to it if not more because we are pissed!

One of Robin Hoods selling points is that you also get this account which I got that you can pay some bills out of or take care of things you need to take care of while using some of the money to trade some of it to take care of the bills And now I have found myself stuck with Im paying bills over a grand stuck in Robin Hoods account and I can buy stocks but yet I cant spend no money and theres no issues as far as the money being approved everything is solid Im allowed cash with drawls but yet they restrict my account if it was restricted due to any other money issues I should be able to buy stocks but I can do that I can buy stocks but I cant touch my money and I put that money there ive only bought a house with a Stocks that *** hold up over $1000 but I tell you what it does hold up it holds me up getting my finger fixed for three more weeks cause I couldnt pay my doctors bill to be able to do my doctors visit instead of surgeries so now I had to have my visit changed because I trusted putting some money in Robin Hood that it could pay certain bills or take care of certain things this is ridiculous and now you cant get a hold of him for nothing you cant contact them to all the phone numbers tell you to go somewhere else all that social somewhere else and I try to do everything automated and answer your questions through prearranged questions and answers which is ridiculous, how can youHold peoples money and not make yourself available sir customer service how can you do that you are ruining peoples credit when theyre trying to pay bills and they need to come late because suddenly your account doesnt work and people like me being held up and cant visit the doctor and thats what came out of work for three more weeks then it wouldve been are they going to pay for it nope, If you use Robin Hood do not hold any Im not Im laying there unless youre going to use it if youre going to use it for stocks transferred and use it as you need it as far as holding your money in there you cant be trusted and take it out as soon as you sell your stock. And I know youre probably thinking how can I say this after one issue because it only takes one issue and it can ruin someones life because when your credit gets ruined your life is ruined thats the day and age we live in
