Robinhood chooses to ignore my concerns. By doing this they are showing their lack of concern about how this happened and how it can be avoided.
I couldn't sign into my account. My biometrics were not working.
I chatted with their customer service A.I., no help. That chatbot said that I would get a phone call within 24 hours from support. Around 20 hours later, I got a call from someone asking if I needed support from Robinhood. I said yes, and they asked me about the problem and then helped me to access my account.
We got in, and the tech support suggested that I add a wallet to put my items in so I could access it anytime without dealing with Robinhood's biometrics. I've heard about wallets before, and seeing how it's almost impossible to talk to anyone from R/H when you need them, it seemed like a good idea. I put my earnings into a wallet that belonged to a thief and lost everything I had. I figured this out while I was still talking to the hacker, so while I was arguing with him, I had my son chatting with R/H, telling them I was being hacked and to please freeze my account.
The best we got was that someone would call us back in 24 hours. I know I was stupid for giving out my information, but I never would have if R/H had not promised a callback to occur at the same time I received the hacker's call. For this reason, this coincidence made me suspicious if this hacker was an employee or getting info from an employee. I do know that it was the lack of customer care that allowed me to be taken in.
They said they were going to investigate, nothing, no questions for me, they just closed my account.
They replied only by online chat. When I asked why it takes days to send money to my bank, but yet when a hacker wants me to dump my earnings in a never-used wallet, it only takes seconds???

My son died almost 3 years ago and I am his mother and the court appointed executor on his estate. I know he had at least one account with Robinhood, but I do not have the account number and password.
I have provided all the information they require multiple times. Customer service just keeps sending me the same emails from different people.
I have a court order to complete the estate.
I am not sure what to do and can't afford to hire an attorney. They don't seem to have a phone number even for corresponding with their "so called legal team"

After informing me I still had $38K remaining in my Robinhood cash account owed to me, they changed my account status to owing them $111K. This is not even possible as they disabled my account on 8-4-2025 and said they were closing it and returning all money.
After 16 days, they returned $1,100,000.00 with $38K remaining. I demanded it back, and I could tell they were going to try and rob me.
Now they are claiming I owe them $111K, which is impossible because after the Aug 4 deactivation of my account and notice of account closure, there was no way to complete any type of transaction as to where I could owe any funds. I want my $38K back immediately and all funds transferred back to my bank.

SupporterThey refuse to return my money!
They decided to close my account (for no apparent reason). They then sold the bitcoin in my account worth $1.2M.
Pursuant to federal law, they are required to return my money immediately. Instead, they stall and delay, refusing to give me my money back. They don't have a phone number to speak to a live person. They blocked me from their support chat.
I need my money back or I will lose my home and my business. There are hundreds of complaints against Robinhood all over the internet. The SEC just fined them $45M on another matter. They are corrupt and need to be stopped.
I need some help exposing them and getting my money back. Can someone please help me?

Im writing my review/complaint on pissedconsumer.com a scam reporting website in which Robinhood has 6258 complaints. Im surprised nobody has murdered someone there yet.
Listen, they have until Monday at 5:00 PM to return my $1.3M to my bank.
I think you already know whats going to happen if they dont.
l will probably do life in prison but someone there will wish they returned my money. At that moment they will know it will be too late to do anything but pray.
So they better return my money now while they still can.
Who is with me on this?

For some reason 2 step verification was installed on my account without my knowledge nor did I ask for it .
Customer support ( that's a joke ) won't answer any of the phone #'s given on their website .The only help online says to log in to your account to fix the problem . DUH !!!
Please enable me to get back in to my account so I can sell my stocks - withdraw all my money and move to a brokerage account that actually has costumer service and cares about it's customers no matter how large their account is .

Verified ReviewerResolved: I opened a Robinhood account to buy some assets and or open an IRA and since they do not allow crypto assets to be transfered to a private wallet I simply wanted my money returned. They refused.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I answered all their questions explain to them that my funds needed to be returned because they did not provide swapping or converting services for sending or receiving assets in New York and that should’ve been disclosed. I sent a copy to the SEC Finra and theFbi
I cannot understand that they could not explain why my account was closed and that they are not giving me back my balance that is just sitting there. I originally sent $50,000 and with the loss of asset value it turned into $44,612.
It is in cash, and it's my money. I tried to use the withdrawal steps when I received a message telling me the bank was not one they dealt with, which is wrong. We both use Chase Bank. I am 72 years old and cannot afford to just lose this money because Robinhood wants to keep it.
Please help. This is theft of funds from a public company.

Verified ReviewerResolved: I cannot get into my account now, it was okay up until a day ago.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Basically I solved the problem while their customer service rep was dragging along giving me many excuses due to my geographical location, but my whole purpose was to close my account after withdrawing my money. I eventually found a way to get into my account by using ID verification
I have invested money in stocks through Robinhood and have always been able to log in with a two-factor authentication method, but recently when a code is sent to my phone as listed on the site, my phone never receives the code so I cannot get into my account. They have me use Plaid to verify my bank, and I get a code from them, but at the end, it states we have run into a problem!
Every time this happens, it is frustrating because to contact support you have to be logged into your account, but I am unable to log in now and there is no support, nor contact number.
This is ridiculous and scary because I have my money invested in this company. Please help me get my money out, and I will never use this ridiculously inept company again!

After two weeks, I received an email stating that the account restriction had been lifted. Etrade botched my securities transfer, and Robinhood honored E-Trade's reclaim request without my consent.
It's now been a week,and I still have restrictions on my account. I cannot purchase or transfer any of my money.
I have responded immediately to every request and answered each question from the support team.
A new date alerting me of when I will be notified is shown every day, but nothing gets resolved. The date has now changed again to next week with no explanation—a horrific experience for a new customer.
My account is still restricted, and the Robinhood customer service rep I spoke to didn't know what was going on. It's been a week.
Still no response from Robinhood.
It's insane to run a trading platform without the ability to call and speak to someone. Trades are time-sensitive.
This is extremely urgent. My account has been restricted, and the virtual assistant support chat prevents me from sending messages. I've tried 30 times to click the word 'Take Action', but nothing happens.

On 7/1, I deposited money and converted it to BTC. I transferred $1,000.00 at their suggestion to send a small amount as a test to the destination.
I transferred $1,000.00 more. Then, two days later, I attempted to send $4,300.00 to the same wallet, and my account was suspended for 'suspicious activity.' They have yet to tell me what the suspicious activity was. They then liquidated my account by selling one free stock I've had for years and converting BTC (at the lowest conversion rate it's been all month), leaving me with $4,186.00. I have been trying to contact them to get my money and find out what the suspicious activity was, but I am only permitted to email, which is replied to with an AI-driven answer that doesn't tell me anything about how to get my money.
This morning, my closed account showed a negative balance of $868.15. Now it is $0.
There is no record of where my $4,186.00 is and no one to contact. I have the SEC complaint filled out and am ready to send it.

They notified me they were reviewing the account for suspicious activity and came back to close the account and lock all funds. No notice or communication on why or when they would be releasing the funds, and two transfers were sent by my bank.
All funds are tied up, and I have no idea why! The worst part is there is no way to call them, as the app is locked, and the only way to get customer support is?
