Customer service to Robinhood. I have been locked out of my account for going on over two weeks now. Robinhood refuses to unlock my account weeks after sending them everything they asked for.

So far to date my story remains the same with no resolution nor compensation for losses while being locked out for weeks because no one will review my bank statements making me miss out on thousands of dollars during the rise of Matic and the dips of Eitherium and LTC.

Going on about two weeks ago I was locked out of my account and it was placed on restriction. Upon asking why I was told I needed to submit my account information along with identity. I emailed them everything including extra banking information. They wanted account information for card ending in 0190, card ending in 3505, and card ending in 9260. After sending them the P.D.F files to both of my banks and everything else that they wanted they still wanted the bank statement for card ending in 0190. I've told them a hundred times that card ending in 0190 was destroyed at the bank due to not functioning properly and it was replaced with card ending in 3505. I told them if you want a bank statement less than 60 days old then you're going to receive the same exact bank statement From the Farmers Bank for card ending in 3505 because it replaced damaged card ending in 0190. I even sent information providing my whole account numbers which I should not have done. Card ending in 3505 is issued through my Farmers Bank account. Card ending in 3505 was the replacement card for card ending in 0190 which does not exist any longer because it has been destroyed by the bank and I was issued a new card ending in 3505 so how am I supposed to send you a statement for card ending in 0190 when it's the same statement as the card ending in 3505 because 3505 replaced the damaged card that was destroyed when I was given card ending in 3505. So card ending in 0190 and card ending in 3505 are from the same exact checking account only card ending in 0190 no longer exists. You have received the bank statement from me over and over and over again in PDF format for The Farmers Bank account I have to which card ending in 3505 is my card used for that account. So now that I have reiterated everything about card ending in 3505 and card ending in 0190 is it understood now that there is a thing called a replacement card through your bank of your cars is lost damaged or stolen. Now the card ending in 9260 goes to my other bank account with First National Bank. They also printed off all the information requested and was then put into a PDF format for you guys to receive in the email. So we're talking about Three cards here. Two from The Farmers bank with cards ending in 3505 and card ending in 0190. Out of these to cards one was destroyed by the bank and that was card ending in 0190 and one was a replacement card. Card ending in 3505. Then we have the second account through First National to which I also sent the PDF file as well for card ending in 9260. I have missed out on making thousands of dollars through poly matic along with other cryptocurrency purchases and stock purchases. I mean thousands. I had 19,390 dollars ready to go into Poly Matic the same exact day that my account was frozen. Not only was I deprived purchasing, I couldn't even send my money back to my bank. Who is going to compensate for that loss? Who? I am really curious as to who will compensate me. I also have at least 40 to 50 back and forth emails between me and Robinhood saved to my email account for legal purposes. All of this trouble because Robinhoods customer care has no idea what a replacement card is nor how they work, nor why they are issued. Thousands lost. Poly Matic almost doubled as I sat there so angry that I could not dump my funds into the crypto market. This is by far the most rediculous thing I have ever had to deal with online. Robinhood has my files and I have proof of it and they still are requesting banking information because they think I have three accounts. I was also denied my funds when I requested to shut down my account. All of over lack of education, understanding, and laziness to properly view my documents that have been submitted for a very long time, and also refused to call me back after 10 requests for a call back. All of this is over Robinhood customer service not giving a crap about the thousands I missed out on and I'm still holding the 19 grand at this time to prove I have it and had it the whole time Robinhood has neglected me. So not only do I want my account unlocked because this is no longer a case of due dillegence for the files and facts are and have been in your hands for a very long time, but I also want compensated for my losses and if this continues I will be seeking an attorney to file my tort claim notice to initiate my lawsuit. I think that would be a wonderful thing to do with the over 19,000 I was forced to sit on as I watched my chance to turn it into something very profitable. Also still to this day I am locked out of my account. Very very very sad and unprofessional. I will never invest another red cent into Robinhood and just as I told the BBB about what RobinHood has done I will make it a special point to leave reviews any and everywhere I can find. I'm also saving all of my emails, complaints, and redundant messages Robinhood repeatedly sent me with no remedy except the one I went way out of the way to get and resolved nothing.

I would like to be compensated for my losses that occured during my restriction that was not warranted for due diligence. I missed out on the rise of Poly MATIC, the dip of LTC and the dip of Eitherium.

Locked out of account, and the only recovery path is broken.

I typically log in to the Robinhood App by biometrics; have not used a password for it in probably 2 years, and have of course forgotten it. Then, two weeks ago, I dropped a still-spinning hole saw on my phone and sawed it sufficiently to render it useless. Bummer, new phone, start fresh. Except the new phone doesn't have biometric login set up on Robinhood yet. So, I do what you normally do, go through password recovery. It asks for my email, and says "great, we sent you a link". Except, they did not send me a link. I wait 30 minutes, I check the spam folder, etc. Nothing arrived at all. I click the button that says "Didn't get a link?" and it has a button to resend the link and another to verify they have the right email. I resend. Nothing. I verify the email is correct. It is correct and is correctly spelled. I try the whole process again. Nothing. I try it on the web instead of the app. Nothing. I try it 8 times. Nothing. I call customer service. I get an automated message that says to contact them in the app or online to set up a call back. No options for any other service. I go to the support section online, and learn that in order to set up a call back, I need to log in to either the app or the web. I look for a "live chat" option. There isn't one. I look for a "Contact us" option. There isn't one. So, to get support for logging into my account, I have to have already logged into my account. How stupid can a system be? Probably would be fine, if their email system worked, but it doesn't. Turns out they do have a support email: support@***.com. But, they don't publicize it; without the pissedcustomer website, I would never have known it existed, because it is listed nowhere on the Robinhood website. Either maintain your email systems properly, or offer an option for support where we don't need to log in. Ideally, both. Not acceptable for a company handling people's money.

User's recommendation: Remember the email option!
