Robinhood chooses to ignore my concerns. By doing this they are showing their lack of concern about how this happened and how it can be avoided.
I couldn't sign into my account. My biometrics were not working.
I chatted with their customer service A.I., no help. That chatbot said that I would get a phone call within 24 hours from support. Around 20 hours later, I got a call from someone asking if I needed support from Robinhood. I said yes, and they asked me about the problem and then helped me to access my account.
We got in, and the tech support suggested that I add a wallet to put my items in so I could access it anytime without dealing with Robinhood's biometrics. I've heard about wallets before, and seeing how it's almost impossible to talk to anyone from R/H when you need them, it seemed like a good idea. I put my earnings into a wallet that belonged to a thief and lost everything I had. I figured this out while I was still talking to the hacker, so while I was arguing with him, I had my son chatting with R/H, telling them I was being hacked and to please freeze my account.
The best we got was that someone would call us back in 24 hours. I know I was stupid for giving out my information, but I never would have if R/H had not promised a callback to occur at the same time I received the hacker's call. For this reason, this coincidence made me suspicious if this hacker was an employee or getting info from an employee. I do know that it was the lack of customer care that allowed me to be taken in.
They said they were going to investigate, nothing, no questions for me, they just closed my account.
They replied only by online chat. When I asked why it takes days to send money to my bank, but yet when a hacker wants me to dump my earnings in a never-used wallet, it only takes seconds???

It took a bit to read & understand this investing opportunity.
I was told by YouTube content provider if I didn't want it, I could get my money back.
Immediately, after hitting the button at the lower screen everything went a wavy black splotchy.
I shut down til the next day. When I revisited the ROBINHOOD APP, it was still all black.
Uninstalled\Reinstalled the app...& it did the black screen again.
Uninstalled\reinstalled again.
Same exact action.
I just want my money back, ok?

Verified ReviewerResolved: I opened a Robinhood account to buy some assets and or open an IRA and since they do not allow crypto assets to be transfered to a private wallet I simply wanted my money returned. They refused.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I answered all their questions explain to them that my funds needed to be returned because they did not provide swapping or converting services for sending or receiving assets in New York and that should’ve been disclosed. I sent a copy to the SEC Finra and theFbi
I cannot understand that they could not explain why my account was closed and that they are not giving me back my balance that is just sitting there. I originally sent $50,000 and with the loss of asset value it turned into $44,612.
It is in cash, and it's my money. I tried to use the withdrawal steps when I received a message telling me the bank was not one they dealt with, which is wrong. We both use Chase Bank. I am 72 years old and cannot afford to just lose this money because Robinhood wants to keep it.
Please help. This is theft of funds from a public company.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Basically I solved the problem while their customer service rep was dragging along giving me many excuses due to my geographical location, but my whole purpose was to close my account after withdrawing my money. I eventually found a way to get into my account by using ID verification
I have invested money in stocks through Robinhood and have always been able to log in with a two-factor authentication method, but recently when a code is sent to my phone as listed on the site, my phone never receives the code so I cannot get into my account. They have me use Plaid to verify my bank, and I get a code from them, but at the end, it states we have run into a problem!
Every time this happens, it is frustrating because to contact support you have to be logged into your account, but I am unable to log in now and there is no support, nor contact number.
This is ridiculous and scary because I have my money invested in this company. Please help me get my money out, and I will never use this ridiculously inept company again!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Robinhood never called me.
After two weeks, I received an email stating that the account restriction had been lifted. Etrade botched my securities transfer, and Robinhood honored E-Trade's reclaim request without my consent.
It's now been a week,and I still have restrictions on my account. I cannot purchase or transfer any of my money.
I have responded immediately to every request and answered each question from the support team.
A new date alerting me of when I will be notified is shown every day, but nothing gets resolved. The date has now changed again to next week with no explanation—a horrific experience for a new customer.
My account is still restricted, and the Robinhood customer service rep I spoke to didn't know what was going on. It's been a week.
Still no response from Robinhood.
It's insane to run a trading platform without the ability to call and speak to someone. Trades are time-sensitive.
This is extremely urgent. My account has been restricted, and the virtual assistant support chat prevents me from sending messages. I've tried 30 times to click the word 'Take Action', but nothing happens.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The reason I could not reach a real support agent was because they (AI system) had me on hold from my last week's interactions.
Therefore whenever I contacted them, the AI never connect me to a live person chat, because it still see me waiting on cue to connect. It gave me an option to end that connection.
Then, I was able to connect and find out that the refund was done automatically without sending a receipt that explained it. Overall, I am satisfy with the outcome.
I have contacted Robin Hood online using their support chat for three days now. They are giving me the run around, repeatedly asking if I want to chat with an agent. I just want to get my money back.
What is this? This makes no sense!

They provided the way to contact them if login fails. Pissed consumer did not help though. The SEC did.
My husband and I are both locked out of our accounts. When it sends an email to verify our identity there is nothing to click on for verification--just a narrative.
Nothing to verify. When we ask for ways to contact support it says go into the app or the website, but if you can't log in you can't go there.
I want Robin Hood to contact me first thing Monday morning before 10:00 a.m. Central standard Time.

First off, my husband has passed away, and this account was left to me. I have been trying to get in contact with them.
She was in Jacksonville, Florida; I could have just handed her the paperwork as I was visiting family, but I was told that goes against policy. She did call me to help walk me through the paperwork. My husband was the tech person in our family. I sent him to school for this as I have epilepsy, and staring at a computer screen is not good for me.
I am not tech savvy; I can piggyback off of a text. I did learn how to send the paperwork as I had it notarized at the bank and sent it that day. Mysteriously, they did not receive the photos I sent them the same way I did before. Now all they do is send me an email stating that my case has been closed.
This is a new phone because the last one literally blew up. I have reached out for assistance, but there is no assistance from Robinhood.
Sorry if this *** them off, but them holding his money hostage and doing whatever they are doing is not fair to me, a widow. I begged him not to use them for this reason; you cannot get to a live person.

This is not a new issue.
In fact, its one of the many reasons I stopped using Robinhood over five years ago. I only regained access to my account because Robinhood support requested it not because I resumed using the platform.
To make matters worse, the original overdraft stemmed from identity theft, something I have explained and documented to Robinhood support multiple times. Yet, their system continues to charge me.
I have made numerous attempts to resolve this issue contacting their support via email and phone but every time they initiate a call to me, I'm placed on hold for 30+ minutes before anyone even picks up.
When I finally do reach someone, not a single representative has been able to offer a solution, and there has been zero meaningful follow-up.
Let me break this down:
-I have not used their service in over five years.
-I have proven the original charges were the result of identity theft.
-I have been charged multiple times without authorization.
Robinhood support has been completely unresponsive and ineffective.
This is not just poor customer service its the unauthorized removal of funds from my bank account. That's THEFT!
Robinhood's negligence and lack of accountability are completely unacceptable.
Unless this is resolved immediately, I will be filing formal complaints with consumer protection agencies, financial regulators, and posting detailed reports like this one across all relevant consumer advocacy platforms.

There is a technical bug or glitch error with my Robinhood account. I haven't found any restriction on my account; however, I can't log into my account with the correct email and password.
I have a balance in my account and they can't just rip me off like that. There is no real customer service.
I had emailed them and haven't received any single human response, besides a bot. When I try to log into my account, it keeps showing this statement.

The app suddenly wont open. At all.
Ever. Delete, reboot, and reinstall did NOT work. They say to contact support through the website OR the app. The website tells you to do everything through the app, and wont let you do anything on the web, not even log in.
The phone number on the website given to call is fully automated and tells you to request a call THROUGH THE APP. But you cant if the app wont open!! You cant talk to anyone or request anything on the phone, and they tell you to use the app or the website. Circular, fraudulent nightmare.
My money is tied up all week now. I cant do anything, see anything, or talk to anyone. This is unacceptable.
When our investments are on the line, this kind of service is going to make me contact an attorney to get my money back immediately and never use Robinhood again. I should have known to stick with the trusted tools of Schwab or Fidelity.

I have also attempted multiple times to contact customer support but get sent into an endless loop of having to access the account that is inaccessible. I do not have access to my old device or phone number to receive any verification codes.

they decided to close my account because 'the name in the account doesn't match with the ID (the middle name is not in the account). So they decided to close the account.
It has been 2 months, and they don't answer back to my emails or transfer the funds to the linked bank.
